# ScoutPing

ScoutPing is a personal watchlist for the public web. Describe a price, a restock, a phrase, or an announcement, confirm how the scout understood it, and get an email only when that condition is newly met. It reads one public HTML page or searches the open web, then stays quiet until the result changes.

## What a scout actually watches

A Page Scout fetches one public URL and evaluates the text you can already see without logging in. That document is the public HTML a browser receives.

A Web Scout searches the open web when you do not have a single page yet, then asks you to confirm the match before it becomes a watch. ScoutPing does not sign in to accounts, submit forms, or buy anything. A Ping includes the evidence and a link back to the source.

Free accounts check daily. Pro accounts can check more often and search beyond one URL.
